Dealer and Trade Vehicle Movement
Stock that needs to be somewhere else by a certain day, moved by someone who understands trade timescales and paperwork.
For dealers, independent garages, body shops, fleet operators and traders moving stock, part exchanges and customer cars.
Trade work runs to different pressures than private jobs. A car sitting in the wrong place is money standing still: a part exchange stuck at a customer's address, an auction purchase past its free storage window, a sold car with a delivery date promised, or a body shop bay blocked by a vehicle nobody has collected. The value here is reliability and a movement that happens when the diary says it will.
We work with garages and dealers across Cornwall on stock moves, forecourt to forecourt transfers, part exchange collections, deliveries to customers and runs to and from body shops, MOT stations and specialists. Auction collections are a regular part of it, and those live and die by release paperwork and collection windows.
Account customers get the practical things that matter day to day: we deal with your sales staff or workshop controller rather than needing the owner every time, we invoice rather than taking payment at the kerb, and we quote multi car movements as one job. Regular runs between the same two sites can be priced as a standing arrangement.
Customer facing deliveries are handled with that in mind. When we hand a car to your customer, we are the last part of your sale, so the vehicle goes off the truck clean of transport marks and the handover is done properly.
What decides your quote
Volume and frequency
Regular movements between the same sites are cheaper than one off bookings.
Auction release windows
Free storage deadlines and site collection hours drive the schedule.
Runner or non runner stock
Part exchanges and damaged stock often need winching rather than driving on.
Customer delivery or trade to trade
A customer handover needs a different standard of presentation and more time.
Account terms
Purchase order and invoicing arrangements agreed at the start rather than per job.

Questions people ask before booking
Can we open an account rather than paying per job?
Yes. We set up the contacts, sites and invoicing arrangement once, and after that a booking takes a phone call or a message.
Can you collect from auction before the free storage runs out?
That is a normal part of trade work. Give us the lot details, the release paperwork and the site's collection hours as early as you can, because those windows are unforgiving.
Will you deliver a sold car to our customer?
Yes, and we treat it as part of your sale. The car comes off the truck presentable and the handover is done properly and confirmed back to you.
Do you move damaged and non running part exchanges?
Yes. Tell us whether it rolls, steers and has keys, and whether the damage affects the wheels, so we bring the right equipment.
Can you do several cars in one day?
Often yes, depending on distance and where the sites are. Give us the whole list rather than booking them one at a time, because planning them together usually costs less.
Broken down right now instead?
This page is for planned movements. If your vehicle has stopped and you need someone today, use the emergency side of the site.
