Vehicle Recovery on Cornwall's North Coast
Cornwall's north coast is our busiest summer corridor. The A39 between Wadebridge and Bude clogs up from May to September with caravans, holiday traffic and surf-trip cars not used to Cornish gradients. We attend Newquay, Padstow, Bude and every village in between, and we carry equipment to recover both standard cars and the longer wheelbase campers that dominate the seasonal traffic.
Response time across North Coast
Newquay and Padstow are typically 35-50 minutes from base; Bude and the far north up to 75 minutes depending on the A39.
Key roads we cover
- A39 (Atlantic Highway)
- A3059 (Newquay airport approach)
- B3276 (coastal road, Padstow-Newquay)
- B3263 (Tintagel-Boscastle)
Common callouts in North Coast
- Camper-van failures on the A39
- Surf-board carriers with damaged suspension
- Beach car park lockouts at Fistral and Polzeath
- Wedding-day breakdowns at coastal venues
In peak summer, A39 traffic can double our travel time. We always quote honestly — if a closer firm can reach you sooner we'll say so.
