Vehicle Collection and Delivery
You cannot be in two places at once. We collect the vehicle from wherever it is and bring it to wherever it needs to be.
For buyers who cannot travel, sellers arranging handover, and owners sending a vehicle for work and getting it back afterwards.
Most collection and delivery jobs start because somebody cannot get the time off. A car bought two counties away, a van that needs to be at a specialist for a week, a vehicle sold to a buyer who cannot travel down. The vehicle has to move and nobody involved wants to spend a whole day on trains.
The part that goes wrong on these jobs is never the driving. It is the details at the ends. Who has the keys, whether the seller will actually be in, whether the garage closes at midday on a Saturday, whether payment has cleared before we load. We agree all of that in advance and confirm it back to you, because a locked gate at the collection end costs everybody money.
We are happy to act as the neutral party in a private sale. We collect from the seller, record the condition of the vehicle with photographs before it goes on the truck, and deliver to the buyer with the same record at the far end. Both sides then know exactly what changed hands.
Round trips are worth asking about. If a vehicle is going to a garage and coming back to the same address, quoting both legs together is normally cheaper than booking them as two unrelated jobs.
What decides your quote
One way or round trip
Booking the return leg at the same time is usually cheaper than arranging it later.
Who is at each end
A dealer with staff on site is simpler than a private address where somebody has to take time off.
Key and document handover
Where keys, V5C and service history are held, and who is authorised to release them.
Waiting time
If a garage needs an hour before releasing the vehicle, that changes the slot.
Distance between the two points
Straightforward mileage, plus whether either end is off the main road network.

Questions people ask before booking
I have bought a car three hours away and cannot collect it. Can you go for me?
Yes, that is exactly what this service is for. We need the seller's details, confirmation they are expecting us, and clear instructions about keys, paperwork and payment.
Will you check the car over before you take it?
We record its condition with photographs, which protects both sides in a sale. That is not a mechanical inspection, and we would not want anyone to treat it as one.
Can you collect keys and paperwork separately from the vehicle?
Yes, as long as it is agreed in writing beforehand and we know exactly who is releasing what.
Do you handle payment between buyer and seller?
No. We move vehicles, we do not hold money. Payment should be settled directly between the parties before we load.
What if nobody is there when you arrive?
That is why we confirm access windows and ring ahead. If a collection fails through no fault of ours there may be a wasted journey charge, which we tell you about at booking rather than afterwards.
Broken down right now instead?
This page is for planned movements. If your vehicle has stopped and you need someone today, use the emergency side of the site.
